Hidden Cameras

They’re everywhere.  Cameras of all sorts, hidden all over.  Even cities have been installing them at stop lights.  We’re watched everywhere by Hidden Cameras.

Now, even when you go into your home or office, you can find that you’re being spied upon.  They can look like Exit Signs or Motion Sensors  They can look like pens, watches and alarm clocks.  They’re literally everywhere.  Hidden Cameras might even be lurking in your bedroom and you might not even know it.  How scary is that?  Perhaps someone put it there to get some footage of you doing something you shouldn’t be.  Or, perhaps someone is just wanting to know what you’re doing, when no one is watching or just to ensure you’re NOT doing something bad.

Now, how about a motel room?  I can’t imagine how many hotels and motels I”ve checked into.  And, not once did I look for a camera that might be hidden.  But, its quite possible they were there.

Wall Clock Cameras

wall clock camerasWhether they are being used for keeping a secure eye on a property or for spying on unsuspecting people, Wall Clock Cameras are highly effective at doing what they’re designed to do.  In a very inconspicuous manner, these clocks simply hang on the wall and tell the time just as they should do.  So no one is the wiser.

But, for the unsuspecting, that time piece hanging on the wall is really one of the wall clock cameras available for purchase today.  These units generally have a built in camera that is so discreet people don’t see it.  And, they can also have a microphone built in, although some models don’t.  Finally, they can either have cords for sending the video signal to a recorder or they can have a dvr built into the unit.  So, when the owner comes home, they simply pull out the memory card and begin viewing the recordings on a separate computer.  Be careful, these guys are more popular than you might think.

Santa’s on his way….the only problem is that YOU’RE SANTA.  And, if you’re like most “Santa’s”, you have a list of people for which you don’t know what presents to buy.  Consider cool spy gadgets for some of those hard to buy for folks.

That’s right, most guys, especially, love to get cool spy gadgets.  Anything from pens that double as a hidden camera, to wireless IP security cameras, and even small or large home surveillance systems all make great gifts.  Don’t stress this year.  Hopefully, this tip will help you a little, if not a lot.

Inexpensive Spy Gear

Tuesday, November 9, 2010

These days, you don’t have to be James Bond to be able to protect yourself or check up on someone.  All sorts of inexpensive spy gear is available that is of very good quality.

So, what kind of inexpensive spy gear is there?  Well, all sorts.  Some of the most commonly purchased items are hidden cameras with DVR’s built into them.  Usually a common item, like this keychain remote, has a camera and DVR built into  it.  Now, for about $150 you can have a stealth camera recording system (just like dear old James Bond) and begin recording things like:  who took my lunchbag from the employee refrigerator?!

Of course, these devices can be used for much more important and serious situations, too.  So, don’t be put off by the prices of some of these items.  Data storage devices and good quality cameras are relatively inexpensive.  So, by adding them to common items doesn’t add a tremendous amount of cost.
