Fake Surveillance Cameras

If you’re like me and need to provide some level of security monitoring on your home or business, you probably would like to buy surveillance cameras or a complete system.  However, as financial times are tough, like me, you might not have a ton of money.  Fake Surveillance Cameras might just be the ticket.

You see, fake surveillance cameras look just like the real outdoor security cameras, as they’re made by the same makers.  They just leave out the camera technology.  So, these fake cameras only cost like $15-25.  So, you can pick up several for less than a hundred bucks and install them in a matter of minutes.  Since they don’t connect to a monitoring station or anything, the installation is a snap.  Drive a few screws and you’re done.  And, if a burglar comes by, or WHEN one comes by I should say, they’ll think you have a full blown security camera system and hopefully will just keep moving down the road.  Affordable.  Easy.  Effective.

dummy surveillance camerasI’m  a fan of quality products that are so stupidly simply, but highly effective.  Dummy Surveillance Cameras are one such product that I hold in pretty high regards for its cost to reward ratio.  These things are affordable and highly effective.

Dummy Surveillance Cameras are fake cameras that look just like the real thing.  They look real because they’re made by the same companies who make the real cameras and they use many of the same parts.  So, you can’t tell the difference.  You can’t tell that there is no camera technology inside the casing….and neither can a criminal.  Dummy outdoor security cameras sell for $10-15 and you can find a few different models and styles to choose from.  They take minutes to install as they only require a couple of screws, then tucking in the fake cable.  You can put up six or eight of these units in a matter of minutes and for about a hundred bucks.  Now, that’s a great product.

I don’t know about you, but I’m getting kinda spooked by all the crime and uprisings, flash mobs and riots all across the world, but now all across the country.  I have installed outdoor security cameras at my house to add an extra layer of protection for me and my family.

There are all sorts of outdoor security cameras available.  And, rather than just buying a few loose cameras and piece-mealing a system together, I bought a complete system kit online that was incredibly easy to install.  I could choose from numerous configurations.  But, I chose just a four camera system, then added 4 additional dummy security cameras to stretch my security dollar.  I think it took maybe two hours tops to install everything and have the security system up and running. Now, if someone wants to try to enter my property, I know about it as its happening and can tune it to watch who it is and what they’re doing.

Looking for ways to get some kind of home security but don’t have much money to spend?  Join the crowd, right?  Fortunately, Dummy Outdoor Security Cameras might just be what you need.  They’re cheap and highly effective.

Dummy outdoor security cameras look just like the real security cameras for your home.  However, the maker simply doesn’t install the actual camera equipment inside of them.  So, they look real because they’re made by the same manufacturers, but they’re much less expensive since they don’t have anything inside.  For literally ten bucks, you can buy one.  And, they only take a couple of minutes to install as you just have to drive a few screws to mount them.  Get four or five of these things and place them around your property.  For 50 bucks, you can outfit your home in such a way that any would be burglar is going to think that there has got to be a better place to rip off.  That’s what you want, right?

How Dummy’s Determine the Number of Security Cameras

dummy security camerasIts hard to go into much detail in a blog, so hopefully, this short article will be helpful.  If you’re going to install surveillance cameras or dummy security cameras at your home, this should help a little.  First, sketch a layout of your property on paper and determine what’s the best viewpoint to install cameras so not only will they get good footage, but they’ll also be visible by anyone wanting to enter your property.  This is the concept of preventing a crime, rather than just catching someone in the act.  I think I’d rather prevent a crime, rather than mess with the cleanup of one.

After you’ve done this, now, take a look at which locations really need working security cameras.  What I mean, is that you can stretch your security dollar by installing some dummy security cameras, too.  The criminal won’t know that some aren’t real.  So, maybe install four real cameras in locations where getting video footage is essential.  But, then, maybe you can install 4 fake surveillance cameras where they’re more visible than functional.  The criminal sees them and  hopefully keeps walking down the road away from your home or business.  I suggested 4 and 4 here, but perhaps the real number in your installation is more like 6 and 4, or whatever the actual number may be.  By reviewing the sketch, you should be able to get a good idea of the actual number you need.

Outdoor Security Cameras

outdoor security camerasHave you seen the statistics for your area?  I’m talking about the crime statistics.  They publish ours in the newspaper each month.  STAGGERING!  Virtually every category saw an increase from last year to this year and most categories were double digit increases.  People are hungry and broke.  I know its not right, but they’re turning to crime to get by.  We have to turn to outdoor security cameras and other forms of protection to get by.

Whether you want a weapon or outdoor security cameras (or both) you have got to do something. Anyone sitting idly by and waiting for things to get better and hope that they don’t become the victim is a sitting duck.  As their neighbors are busy preparing their homes against a break in, they’re basically saying, come on over here burglar, my home’s not protected.  Where do you think the burglar or vandal is going to go?  To the one with the camera system or the one without the camera system?

dummy security camerasOkay, here’s something that virtually every homeowner should know.  Dummy Security Cameras are an awesome investment.  That’s right.  Anyone who owns a home or business, who doesn’t already have a functioning security camera system installed, should read this.

At a cost of slightly more than $10 each, dummy security cameras can be had.  They look just like the real security cameras because they’re made by the same companies using the same components.  The only difference is that they don’t have the expensive camera technology inside.  Why would anyone want them?  Because the first defense is a good offense, right?  Well, put these around your home or business and a burglar or vandal is going to think you have a full blown security camera system installed.  Won’t they be much less likely to break into your home as opposed to one that doesn’t have any visual protection?   Of course they will.  They’re crooks, not idiots.

A Camera Dummy

camera dummyPeople are trying to find ways of protecting their property that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg.  And, many people are using a camera dummy or two on their property to keep burglars and vandals from breaking in or damaging their place.

One nice thing about a camera dummy is that they are very inexpensive.  Usually, $10-20 is all you need to pick one up.  But, they look 100% real.  They are made by the same makers of real outdoor security cameras.  The makers use the same housing, they simply do not install the actual expensive camera technology.  So, from the street these fake surveillance cameras look just like a real one.  Also, they only take minutes to install.  Generally, the installer only has to drive 3 or 4 screws and tuck the fake able in that’s it.  Finally, since no expensive monitoring equipment is required, no additional cost is necessary.  A few minutes and a few bucks is all it takes to install these great dummy cameras.

dummy security camerasAs people continue to look for ways to protect their homes and families against burglars, vandals and break-ins, more and more people are turning to dummy security cameras for this protection they seek.  They’re a great product at this time when the economy stinks and no one can afford to spend anything.

You see, dummy security cameras look exactly like the real thing.  They’re even made by the same companies that make real security cameras.  The companies just leave out the actual camera equipment inside the housing.  So, essentially the buyer is buying only the housing.  Because of this, these fake surveillance cameras are much less expensive.  Not only that, but the buyer doesn’t have to buy a dvr, cabling or any other equipment.  And, installation is a snap as the homeowner simply drives a couple of screws in and the dummy camera is installed.  Now, when burglars come by, they see the dummy cameras and keep on walking….

Home Surveillance Systems

home surveillance systemsProperty crime continues to soar.  Personal crimes continue to soar.  No matter what market or locale you’re in, the chances of someone burglarizing or vandalizing your property is greater today than ever before.  This explains why sales of home surveillance systems is skyrocketing.

All types of home surveillance systems are seeing a huge surge in sale.  From indoor hidden nanny cams and wireless ip security cameras to outdoor security camera systems and dummy outdoor security cameras, sales are up across the board.  It only makes sense.  People are trying to do two things here.  First, by installing these systems outside the home, they’re trying to tell burglars and vandals to keep moving down the road, don’t try here, you’ll get busted.  Hopefully, this averts the crime altogether, at least at their home.  Secondly, the indoor systems are to catch the evidence needed to put the criminals away in prison.  By getting the video footage, it’d be difficult to have any attorney get them off.
