ZAPLE Flashlight Stun Gun

PS Products is set to release a new product that is sure to be hit like all of their other products.  PS Products manufactures the ZAPflashlight stun gun line of stun guns and stun products.  Currently, they have a flashlight stun gun with the model of ZAPL.

So, the new model of flashlight stun gun coming out, I’m told, will be the ZAPLE.  The “E” is for EXTREME!  They haven’t told me yet what will make it extreme, but based on ZAP’s other products, I’m sure the ZAPLE will live up to its name.  The base model is a 1 million volt stun flashlight with an ultrabright LED flashlight head and an incredibly durable aluminum casing.  Now, I do know the ZAPLE will be black, but it looks like, from the pictures I’ve seen, its made of the same high quality aluminum casing.  So, I”m assuming the EXTREME is referring to an increase in power.  Bad guys better beware…..ZAP IS ON THE MOVE!

Buying Pepper Spray

buying pepper sprayThere are a lot of people buying pepper spray and MACE these days.  It seems that so many people are worried about the incredible increase in crime and mobs that has taken place recently.  And, since so many people are familiar with pepper spray, they instinctively buy it.

Now, if you’re one of those people buying pepper spray, you should know that you’ll probably find quite a selection of products from which to choose.  Of course, there are the traditional key chain dispensers we’ve seen for years.  But, now there are more formulas available, too.  You can get the old stand by spray, or you can get a fogger or a gel.  And, for dispensers, you will see a selection.  MACE even offers a hand gun looking product called a MACE Gun.  You’ll also find small steel batons loaded with MACE and many many different sizes of cans of pepper spray.  You’ll even find a Jumbo 1 Pound Police Size of spray which is really used for crowd control.

Use of Stun Gun Knuckles

The use of stun gun knuckles has exploded lately.  I guess the word has finally gotten out on these cool self defense weapons.  stun gun knucklesAnd, from the best that I can tell, the greatest increase is coming from people who like to exercise.

That’s right.  It seems that exercises, you know, people who like to jog, walk or run, like stun gun knuckles because they fit so well into a clinched hand.  And, that’s how most people’s hands are when they exercise.  So, the owner is able to carry the weapon in their hand, ready for use in an instant.  They’re pretty cool, really.  They’re packed with 950,000 volts of stun power, so the shock can penetrate quite a thick amount of clothing.  And, the buttons are in just the right spot, so the jogger can set off a short test fire into the air as they run, if they see someone who looks someone daunting.  And, by doing this, hopefully, they’re preventing an attack from ever happening.  To me, that’s the best kind of weapon: one that prevents an attack altogether.

What’s the Best Stun Gun?

I get asked that question a lot.  Unfortunately, there’s no real answer to the question.  I mean, the word “best” is subjective and so what may be the best stun gun for one person, may or may not be the best for someone else.  But, with that being said, let’s take a look at some brands and models.

One particular brand of stun guns that would certainly have to be considered as possibly producing the best stun gun is Barracuda.  Their products are truly second to none, when it comes to quality.  They last.  And, they deliver a full 4.5 milliamps of power which is about 50% more than most other brands.  Also, Omega Stun Guns would have to be considered as they are one of the original two stun gun makers.  They got their start in the mid-80s and many of those original units are still in use today.  If you want to see a really cool self defense weapon, check out the Omega Star Warrior….wickedly cool!  And, I’d have to say that both stun batons and flashlight stun guns would have to be considered in this discussion as they’re easy to use and highly effective.

Stun Guns

There are a lot of different models and types of stun guns.  And, generally, I tell people to do some gut wrenching research before they just go out and buy any old weapon.  But, today, for those people who are the type to OVER analyze and never end  up making a decision, I have a different message.

Instead, I tell you to act.  If you’ve been researching and still haven’t made a decision, then I say buy something.  Order today.  Go online, google “stun guns” and buy something.  Crime is spiraling out of control and we haven’t gotten to the worst of it yet.  The worst will come when US Citizens across the country take up arms and riot in the streets.  Mark my words, it will happen.  We’re already seeing the beginnings.  Look at the national headlines on Monday morning.  Count the number of articles which talk about “flash mobs” and “groups of 14” going crazy and beating others or breaking into stores.  This is the beginning of a very dark period in this country.  You must have some form of protection.  Do not delay.

Take Up Arms with A TASER Gun

A TASER Gun, stun gun or whatever you want to call it can be a great weapon to have.  Of course, its initial intended use is to protect you and I against those who want to attack us.  Generally, we consider this to be a mugger, purse snatcher or rapist.  But, it could be anyone, truly, who wants to harm us.

Having a TASER Gun on hand, in your purse, in your pocket or whatever in the event that you’re approached may be the best decision you ever make.  What happens if our government puts together the force necessary to keep us, US Citizens, in line?  What happens?  Under the guise of martial law, our government, well I wouldn’t call them “our” government, but rather the people in offices of power and control could very well try to keep us down.  And, while a taser gun isn’t enough to fend off the effects of martial law controlling the US population, it would certainly be a nice thought to have in your head as you depart this world after having been shot by your own country.

Hair raising, I know.  But, possible?  You decide…..

Non Lethal Weapons

non lethal weaponsMany people know they need some form of self defense weapon, but are afraid to carry a handgun, and so they want a form of non lethal weapon to carry.  And, fortunately, there are quite a few weapons for them to consider.

Some of the various non lethal weapons are stun guns (and various stun devices, like canes, batons, flashlights and more), TASER guns, pepper spray and MACE, steel batons and Wicked Laser ultra-intense lasers.  There are a few others, like pepper guns, but the ones I’ve listed are, by far, the most commonly carried weapons.  Before you purchase one of these, though, be sure to give some thought to which type of encounter you want to protect yourself against and what conditions might surround you when you need it.  For instance, I wouldn’t recommend pepper spray if you’re wanting protection while you walk at night along the coastal beaches.  The steady winds will only cause you grief as you attempt to spray your attacker.  This may be an overly simplified example, but it should serve to make the point.

Barracuda Stun Guns

If you’re wanting a stun gun, but are unsure which one to get, you might want to consider one of Barracuda Stun Guns.  They have 4 different models and are some of the highest quality self defense weapons available anywhere.

Barracuda Stun Guns

The various Barracuda Stun Guns are:  BC-10, the BC-12, BC-20 and BC-30.  The Barracuda BC-10 is a 1 Million Volt stun gun which also has a personal alarm built into it.  The BC-12 is a 1.2 Million volt stun gun which is about the size of a pack of cigarettes, so it fits nicely into a shirt pocket.  It also comes with a holster for belt loop carrying.  The BC-20 and BC-30 are 2 million volts and 3 million volts, respectively.  They also come with a holster, but what makes them different from the BC-12 is that these models have a rubberized coating on the case so they’re easier to ensure a strong, non-slip grip.  All the models have a disable pin, so if someone tries to forcibly remove the stun gun from your hand, it will be rendered useless.  They all come with a 5 year warranty and are truly some of the best built, most reliable stun guns available.

Rechargeable Stun Gun

Thursday, July 14, 2011
posted by SmartStun 4:41 PM

Yesterday, I wrote about the virtues of a pink stun gun.  Well, today, I thought I’d pass along some of my thoughts on arechargeable stun gun.  They certainly have their pros and cons, but to me, its a no brainer.

Most people like rechargeable stun guns because you they don’t have to mess with keeping up with batteries.  And, more importantly, if their battery runs out of juice, many times their stun gun sits on the counter for a couple of days until they can make it to the store to get fresh batteries.  If the stun gun is rechargeable, the owners don’t lose their protection for a couple of days.  Equally as important, with rechargeable units, the owners typically keep the battery fairly well charged.  But, with regular replaceable batteries, the battery might be somewhat drained and when the owner goes to use it, it just doesn’t have quite the stun that is needed to drop an attacker.  The drawback, though, is that when the rechargeable battery doesn’t hold a charge anymore, the stun gun is virtually useless.  But, even that can be addressed.  For instance, Barracuda Stun Guns back their units with a warranty that covers even the battery.

So, make your own decision on which is best for you.  But, for me, I’ll take a rechargeable Barracuda any day!

Pink Stun Gun

pink stun gunMy wife carries a pink stun gun with her where ever she goes.  And, initially, I thought it was just because she likes the color pink.  But, she told me the other day that there’s an even more compelling reason for her to be carrying a weapon that is pink, as opposed to the typical black.

She said she carries a pink stun gun because its so much easier to find it quickly in the “bottomless pit” of her purse.  The color pink really stands out and is not confused with anything else when she looks into.  And, I have to admit, that makes great sense.  If she’s approached by some freak and the stun gun is in her purse, she definitely needs to be able to get to it quickly.  With the standout color, she’s able to do so.  I know, I know, I never give my wife enough credit for the things she does right.  Her self defense and protection, she definitely takes seriously and I’m proud for what all she does.
